Semifinal Game  on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 1:45 p.m. vs Pella Christian

There will be NO SCHOOL on Thursday, March 1.
Friday, March 2, 2012

If IKM-Manning wins Thursday, they would play in the 2A championship game at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 2. There would be a full day of school on Friday, March 2 with normal dismissal times.

If IKM-Manning loses Thursday they are done in the tournament. The girls’ basketball state tournament does not have a consolation game.

Ticket Sales

Tickets for all state basketball games are general admission and cost is $8. Tickets for all games may be purchased at the Wells Fargo Arena ticket office. The school will also have advanced sale tickets available in the Irwin, Manilla, and Manning offices for Thursday’s game. Tickets are $8.00 for the afternoon semifinal session which begins with the 12:00 p.m. game between OA-BCIG and Hull-Western Christian. IKM-Manning’s game follows at 1:45 p.m. Advanced ticket sales at all three school offices will end at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 29.

Championship game tickets for Friday, March 2 will only be sold on-site at Wells Fargo Arena.

Pep Bus on Thursday, March 1

A pep bus (school bus) will be offered to the game on Thursday if there is sufficient interest. The bus will leave from the Irwin school building at 9:30 a.m.., the Manilla school building at 9:45 a.m. and the high school parking lot in Manning at 10:00 a.m. Bus should arrive at Wells Fargo Arena in time for the OA-BCIG vs Western Christian game. Cost to ride is $10 (ticket NOT included). Community members and students may sign up in the school offices in Irwin, Manilla, and Manning and must pay when they sign up. Students in 6th grade and under must be accompanied by a responsible adult. If at least 20 people are not signed up and paid by 2 p.m. on Wednesday, February 29 then a pep bus will not be offered.

 

If IKM-Manning wins on Thursday there may be a pep bus offered to the championship game on Friday, March 2 if there is sufficient interest.

The IKM-Manning Booster club will be having a sendoff event at the high school in Manning on Sunday, February 26 beginning at 6 p.m. A meal (free will offering) will be served at 6 p.m. in the school cafeteria followed by a pep rally in the gym.

Due to game there will be NO SCHOOL on Tuesday, February 28.

Possible 2nd Game  on Thursday, March 1, 2012
If IKM-Manning wins their game on Tuesday their next game would be at 1:45 p.m. on Thursday, March 1. If we win Tuesday there will be NO SCHOOL on Thursday, March 1.

If IKM-Manning loses their game on Tuesday school will held as usual on Thursday, March 1.

If IKM-Manning advances, tickets for Thursday’s semifinal game will be sold in the Irwin, Manilla, and Manning school offices until 2 p.m. on Wednesday, February 29. Championship game tickets for Friday, March 2 will only be sold on-site at Wells Fargo Arena.

Registration information is available on the school website.  Walk-In registration is available on August 1st & 2nd from 8 to 12 noon or 1-4 p.m.  Mail-in registration deadline is August 12th.
 
 
Please join us for a technology open house for the IKM-Manning High School and Manning Elementary on Tuesday, April 19th from 5:30 to 7 p.m.  Come see what the students and staff are doing with technology.  You are also invited a free-will supper prepared by the FCS students in the lunchroom.  Menu consists of maidrites, chips, beans, and desert.

IKM-Manning Middle School will be having their open house on Monday, April 25th from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Manilla building.  FCS will be serving walking tacos.
